LASIK Custom Vue - Tomorrow - Glasses Free!

Two of my friends have had this procedure done by Dr. Boutros and he has many positive reviews. This led to my decision to use him. There are many less expensive vision correction centers that I could have chosen from; however, given the reputation of this doctor and the limited number of eyes I have, I decided that I should go for the "Deluxe Package" as it were, so surprisingly, I haven't flinched over the cost.
I've been thinking about this for many years and I've waited for people I know to go blind and fortunately, no one I know has yet to have that happen. Additionally, they no longer use the guillotine a/k/a a Microkeratome (see what it looks like) to slice open your eye, which is a big plus for me. Now they use an Excimer Laser which is much more precise, effective and safe. It's amazing what a difference even half a micrometer can make!
I won't miss the dirty glasses, wet glasses, fogged classes, need to watch out in sports, taking off my glasses to go swimming, removing my glasses in a moment of intense passion, fumbling for my glasses in the morning, wondering where I left my spare glasses and most importantly the hindrance to my spontaneity! And so I say, friends, wish me luck! Tomorrow I will be a member of the perfect vision populus!
